Absolutely correct.

Just one more note before someone gets dubious ideas:

As typical burglary tools, the devices used by the fire department are absolutely unsuitable, since their use is associated with a hellish noise that would also be capable of "waking the dead"...

I received the response from my insurance to my inquiry this morning.
Yes: It is covered. The building insurance is designed accordingly. In our case, damages caused by attempted break-ins would be covered 100%.

Regarding fires: Unfortunately, I had to have an experience. Extremely dangerous.

In addition, I am the fire protection officer in the company.

We can handle this briefly: If there is a fire: GET OUT of the house IMMEDIATELY. Nothing can be saved anymore. If the place is on fire, it’s already done for.

Sometimes it takes less than 10 minutes for everything to burn down completely. Tiles or not.
The fire breaks through, the smoke gases ignite. That is terrible. Insane.

You have to be really lucky to survive with just three breaths in the presence of certain gases.
At the time, I was extinguishing the fire but did not breathe because I have almost 8 liters of lung capacity and can hold my breath longer than others. One or two breaths back then would have been the end.

Smoke detectors are an absolute must.

That can be very deceptive.

What do you mean by that?

Does your fire department use noise-optimized tools to avoid waking up the surrounding residents?

Errata: Not building insurance. Household insurance covers this for us. Apologies for the error.
