Child is further away from the living room and the guest toilet closer to the living area. Guests don’t have to pass in front of the children's room when they need to use the toilet.
With the bungalow, one tries to achieve zoning. Separate the public from the private area. This is not yet apparent in the floor plan.

Yes, the children's room would feel too isolated back there for me. Still, thanks. We also have an office/guest room in the converted gable above the parents' bedroom/bathroom, accessible via a gallery. Otherwise, everything is on one level.

Now mirror the children's room so that the door is further towards the living area/entrance. The door to the utility room can be moved 1m into the hallway.
