Building without antenna and SAT-CAT cable without conduit?

Well, "programmer" is somewhat understating it. We are both software developers. I did study business informatics, indeed, but that was a few years ago. We also had network technology once, but whoever still remembers everything that was covered at the university and has never needed it since, raise your hand.

The challenge will rather be that he will come up with excuses again why he cannot/will not do it, because he would rather earn the money for a can.

One answer made me a bit uncertain, so I am asking again.

My plan for the access point (Ubiquiti) was to have an empty box installed with the cable coming out including an RJ45 connector. Is that correct? On the wall that is no problem.

But how is it best for the electrician to implement this on the ceiling? (Upper floor, collar beam ceiling currently with foil and insulation, later then drywall)
