Are we fast or is that normal? How far along are you?

Normal - that is the nice shell construction phase, you think you'll be in in 3 months.

You can't see the pipes anymore - but no drainage was done?

We started 6 weeks ago, at the end of October, without a basement, 2 full floors. Today the roof truss is being erected..

In this weather, it just sometimes takes a little longer. But 6 weeks until then is still okay. Our shell construction with roof took about 5 weeks, however with a basement and we did the electrical work ourselves, so the company had to wait 2-3 days for the intermediate ceilings...

Just a question: I would have expected that the construction companies really step on the gas in this weather and make use of every day as long as possible. But currently, I see empty construction sites on Friday noon and Saturday and up to 3 weeks of planned Christmas/New Year break....

Exactly, people just shouldn't knock off for the day.

Why are you asking here in the forum and not the boss directly?
