Building stone by stone - Is starting construction in November risky?

So far, nothing has spoken against the start of construction we are going into the Christmas break with a completed poured basement ceiling. If the weather stays stable, the roof truss will be erected at the end of January / beginning of February... In this sense: happy holidays!

When I compare this with the posted floor plan, I guess from this view behind the house is the garage. Or how did you plan it now? Would you like to show it again?

Up to what temperature can bricks actually be glued; i.e., built? I think I once heard something about 5 degrees.

Where does your November farmer stand in the meantime?

Due to the weather, progress is slow. The ground floor masonry is in place, the scaffolding was erected today. On Friday, the ground floor/upper floor ceiling will be installed. How are things looking on your end?

Had about a one-week weather-related break. Otherwise, the temperatures have always been borderline.

Next week we are supposed to cover it. Others partly talk about 6 weeks of shell construction; we didn't manage that.

6 weeks of shell construction are of course only possible in good weather. If I remember correctly, my construction company even guaranteed 8 weeks of construction time outside the bad weather period. As I said, it took us 5-6 weeks even though we did the electrical work ourselves and there was always a 2-3 day break per ceiling due to pulling the cables...
