Building in a new development area when there are social housing units around?

I do not understand how people always demand colorfulness and diversity and fight for democracy and human rights, and when it affects them personally, they are overwhelmed by the colorful diversity.

The western German metropolitan areas are simply the disproportionately large gathering points for our guests. How can anyone be so xenophobic and racist.

It depends on the overall situation, but with you one can already read the skepticism and discomfort - so I would rather leave it. You never go outside for a walk? Do you have/plan no children who want to go outside/attend school or kindergarten there? Especially if such a feeling arises already during viewings, it certainly won't get better if you live there permanently.

What exactly do you mean by that? Townhouses are normal and social housing is not negative per se – I even find affordable housing positive, my grandmother lived happily in such housing for decades; nowadays it is a gentrified district with absurdly high rents around the social housing, that's when 11ant hits the nail on the head.

On the other hand, I find it important to feel comfortable in your neighborhood. And everyone feels that subjectively. For example, I would never move somewhere where the neighbors look at you weird because you are not from the town or you don't understand anyone because you speak High German and don't understand Bavarian dialect.

I would recommend that too. Just go for a walk there, get into conversations. That makes sense anyway, also to experience other things on site: noise from the street and co, walking accessibility to important shops, public transport schedules, and so on.

Are "Assis" always foreigners according to your worldview? That’s how your sentence and your posts always sound.

A perfect house can be built anywhere; it is not tied to this plot of land.

Is the price "perfect" because of the surroundings?

May I ask you about your family situation? As a woman or with children, one sometimes rejects living environments that can be great for a man without children.

How many meters are there between your front door and the front door of the nearest social housing building?

Do you/are you already living with a dog or planning to bring a dog into your life?

Addendum, unfortunately just forgotten:
Never being able to take a moonlight walk/walk in the snow or, when feeling cooped up, being able to walk a few meters outside after dark would be unacceptable for me considering the price of a house.
