Yes, of course, site plan / cadastral excerpt, not a planting plan :)

How about the official way, that is, asking the authority for an exception? If I understood you correctly, you are willing to create three parking spaces, which are then just located differently than usual.

And yes, it is being checked. An employee of the city personally came by after the completion notification and looked at everything from the outside. In addition, I am currently undergoing a random KfW inspection after the subsidy payment, and the tax office is also auditing me at the moment. Oh yes, the bank also sent someone after the completion of construction. I even have a fifth instance here that could order an inspection

Please present the garden plan, it can be a simple hand-drawn sketch here, maybe the collective intelligence will help further. I have sometimes thought with some suggestions from forum members, what a far-fetched idea ;-) but sometimes ideas are far-fetched --> and good. :)

I find parking spaces and garages enormously ugly. That's why I would really place all my imagination on finding a solution that looks like 3 parking spaces but isn’t 3 parking spaces. Please don’t give up the dream of living with 3 generations.

By sketch I basically mean just roughly drawing the plot (rectangle?) on a piece of paper, approximately the size and location of the house and maybe write down the restrictions again or shade the areas for the only solution that you and your family see so far.

Some forum members here are almost "dream fulfillers" with their suggestions, tips and possible solutions. :)

YPG and Hampshire, please come back?

Hello,
First of all, I would like to thank you. Many thanks for the helpfulness with which one is received here. Attached is a sketch

A few pieces of information:
The rear building boundary must not be exceeded with regard to parking spaces. Parking spaces in the front garden are not allowed. Exception: Houses with one residential unit may have a parking space in the front garden on the driveway.
Nothing is stated for houses with two residential units, so the HBO applies, meaning all parking spaces must be located so that none have to be crossed.

Thank you very much in advance!!

What speaks against a parking space to the right of the house, one to the left of the house (or even two in a row each) and if necessary another one crossing in front of the house, which could also be grass pavers with plants around and might grow over a bit over the years, if you really don’t need it?

Parking spaces may only be on one side and only for one residential unit may the parking spaces be arranged one behind the other.
