Hello everyone,
for our new building, we have a carport attached to the garage. The neighbor's garage is directly on the boundary, we want to place a carport next to it (there will probably be only a few centimeters of space, so it will be attached to our house, not to the neighbor's garage).
My question relates more to the soil levels – since the neighbor's house is located very low, we will be about 50cm higher than him. So we have to fill up soil next to his garage in order to lay our foundation and the paving for our carport.
Is it sufficient, with his consent, to simply apply a bitumen protection along his garage plaster at the height where our paving will later be, then put dimpled membrane against it and then fill the soil against that, or do we need to choose a different method?
Thank you very much!
