Either you build a conservatory or you build a bay window with a balcony on top.
The definition of a conservatory includes translucent materials in the roof.
(for heaven's sake, what do you need a balcony for?… in most cases, it's the leak where rain gets in on a part that you don't even use - with the garden)
Yes, so we would like to have a bay window with a balcony on top, for what the balcony haha well….. My wife already loves to lie in the sun in spring, but the garden is too cold for her, whereas the balcony is not…. She also prefers to lie on the balcony in summer because it is warmer there… I don't understand my wife in this regard either.
Here is a picture of the exterior view, maybe that better explains our wish. Of course, things like railings and gutters are still missing, but as already said, as a complete layman, it is not possible for me to draw everything correctly.
Of course, it would also be possible to place more windows in the extension (bay window). Also, the window arrangement above is not final. There is only one window planned in the master and children's rooms each and one window from the hallway to the balcony so that it can be used by everyone.
