Hello everyone!
We are making great strides toward the notary and hopefully the plans can soon be put into action.
Many thanks already for the previous contributions in response to my question!!!
I actually had not planned the partition wall, thanks already for the hint! We also really like the "green draft" so far...

We are considering whether it makes sense to change the windows - there is the possibility, for example, to make the windows in the existing area narrower and lower (like a vertically positioned rectangle). Otherwise, the shower would never fit on the wall with the windows...

Regarding the door: Since we have to make openings anyway, it would be possible to plan the door at the top left and widen it. This way, the wall without windows would be fully usable...

Are there possibly additional ideas on how to nicely integrate the indirect lighting?

We were able to measure now:
- Room height: 2.54 m
- The parapet height is 1.54 m
- Previous window width: 1.31 m and window height 68 cm

Many thanks in advance for further ideas and suggestions!
Best regards,
Eileen

If it were mine, I would arrange the objects like this:

I can't fit a walk-in shower here without the whole room or other objects suffering or being completely removed.
My main goal would be that one can move around in the bathroom without constantly having to squeeze past something.

Hello K a t j a,

thank you for your consideration! Sometimes one is so fixated on their own idea that a "change of perspective" is quite helpful – we will take into account the consideration of planning without a walk-in shower!

A walk-in shower usually has a length of about 1.60m. Under 1.40m it hardly works anymore and even then you have some splashes outside. Your showers look smaller to me and all need a door. Maybe you are confusing walk-in with "flush-mounted"?
