I find that carefully stacked towels also have something calming in their form, provided they are uniformly the same. The stacks can, contrary to some clutter on the washstand, provide balance. I also go to the bathroom with the dryer drawer to empty it. That bothers me just as little as when I take a broom out of a closet. With three loads of laundry a week, I put up with that. But of course, you have to decide for yourself how you want to do it. However, the bathroom then remains difficult to furnish. If the bathroom is a walk-through room, of course, the private area is also included. That could be dispensed with with three people and additional toilet facilities in the house. When you move in, your little one will also have understood that Mom or Dad is having their quiet time.

I don't know how it is with others, but when someone in our house takes the throne, they are allowed to be alone in the bathroom. If necessary, there's still a guest toilet. But having Mom constantly running past me with the laundry while I'm polluting the air – that would probably give me digestive problems.

Thank you, dear ones. I just conferred again with my site manager (who probably also used to design bathrooms in his previous life). I think we have a solution that I like. I’ll sketch it out tonight and show it, I just can’t manage that here right now (at work). Short version: utility room across the hallway, toilet swapped with the washbasins, tub stays and won’t be enclosed (a kind of "quarter freestanding" that rests against the wall on two sides), shower will be a 1m*1.40m walk-in with a glass partition. Door swings the other way (towards the toilet).

So my utility room is also accessed through the bathroom and I find that totally convenient. Dirty clothes go straight into the laundry basket in the utility room next to the washing machine, and wearable clothes also hang in the utility room. Towels, bathrobe & Co are all in the utility room and don’t take up any space in the bathroom, which is an advantage for me because my bathroom is rather small. However, my toilet is a separate room that is directly accessed from the hallway. So the access to the utility room is only blocked when someone is showering briefly or bathing once in a blue moon. In my case, this solution simply had more advantages concerning the other rooms upstairs and now in everyday life, I really like it.

So, decided it is.
Quickly sketched by the architect for the bricklayers tomorrow:
The shower will be a walk-in shower with a flush-to-floor shower tray 100x140 with a side glass partition. (The shower drain is still wrongly drawn, but it will be a tray anyway.) The bathtub will be a corner bathtub 180/78 with an apron (the corner in the room rounded) and therefore no longer needs to be tiled. The door opens the other way so that you don’t first look at the toilet when you come in. I kept a tiny little "privacy wall". One side for the toilet paper holder, the other side maybe a towel rack, we’ll see. I like it.
Slightly suboptimal is the furnishing beside the door in the utility room; only a shallow shelf can fit in the corner, but we’ll accept that.

Well, I think it's better than before. You should only lock the door when you’re sitting on the throne, otherwise energetic door opening can cause bruised knees. Yeah, that would annoy me a bit too. Why don’t you take a smaller door?!
