Our bathroom is the same size overall, it is just about half a meter longer (4.51m), but also half a meter narrower (2.88m).

A regular bathtub placed at a 45° angle actually takes up more floor space than a corner bathtub. That is why I wrote that ours is "slightly" angled (about 30°) to avoid the problem of the sloping roof and the associated lower height. But this also means that not the entire corner is built in. In everyday use, there have been no problems so far; two people can easily pass between the washbasin and the shower without getting in each other's way, and even with your height, you would have no trouble getting into the bathtub with us. If you are interested, I could upload our bathroom floor plan again.

@ Bauherren2014: That would be great if you could upload the floor plan.

Ok, no problem. It is only hand-drawn, as we (like many others) changed the bathroom plan several times until this result was achieved. The roof slope is at the bottom (north), the 2m line is not drawn in, it is at about 0.8m depth when viewed from the north (gable roof 45°, knee wall 1.20m).

@ Bauherren2014: THX! I ran the "normal" bathtub through the planning program for our bathroom size. The space wouldn’t be enough for us (since it takes up more floor area) and the access to the toilet would be way too tight. I think it will be the asymmetrical hexagonal bathtub in version 5 after all.

Your passage between the shower and the washbasin seems quite narrow to me in the drawing. Do you want to leave it like that or move the shower and toilet a bit towards the sloping ceiling?

Our house is already built.

The passage between the shower and the washbasin measures 1.10m. It is absolutely no problem if two adults want to pass each other there, especially since the person standing at the washbasin is not directly opposite the shower cabin, but slightly offset to the right (and at least my husband is not exactly the slimmest ). It has proven itself in everyday life!

However, we have actually moved the toilet a little bit towards the sloping roof, so that it stands roughly in the middle between the shower and the edge of the bathtub.

We also tinkered for a long time and tried different variants, but were never really satisfied. This one then came from our sanitary expert and we are very happy with the solution. However, in addition to the ceiling outlet, we installed an extra lamp on the west wall, because otherwise it would be a little too dark in the toilet. But for you, that shouldn’t be a problem with the double casement window.

I like option 6 best. It is much more open and inviting from the entrance. However, I would omit the masonry walls. I would choose a glass shower enclosure with a corner entry. And on the north wall, I would plan a built-in cabinet or shelves or something like that along the entire wall up to the bathtub.
