Bathroom planning: Combine guest bathroom with children's bathroom?

Hello,

some of you may have followed the planning thread. Since we do not want to use the guest WC as a passage room to the utility room nor an empty traffic area between utility room & guest WC, we will access the utility room classically through the kitchen or NET.

This gives a bit more space for the bathroom planning, but it is not entirely clear how this can be used. We had planned the guest WC relatively unspectacularly and minimally as an interior bathroom. Now we are considering using the space to plan the guest WC as a separate children's bathroom.

The shell dimensions of the children's bathroom would be 1.70m wide (as we currently have it in our apartment), and 2.20m in the master bathroom (for this room width, you can compare with Horbach’s sample bathroom Samoa). Both are 3.70m long.

The children's bathroom will have a space-saving bathtub "slightly angled," in the master bathroom there will only be a walk-in shower.

Would it be possible to implement this conceptually like this?

Best regards
Mic

I find the development of your floor plan fascinating. It looks different every time, yet somehow always the same. Just asking out of curiosity, are 2 small bathrooms better than one large one? Would it be worth considering to reduce the size of the [HAR] a bit and give one of the bathrooms more space? Possibly even moving the washing machine to the children's bathroom so that you don't have to carry laundry through all the rooms including the kitchen?

The key data haven't changed. Everyone else (here) wants to renovate; I want to optimize what exists. ant11 would charmingly call it 'dice room' ^^

The idea of a separate children's bathroom only came about because, through the changed utility room entrance, we save walking distance and would have a niche in the large bathroom. (see attachment)

Your idea is not bad, but I wouldn't know where to place the washing machine in the children's bathroom. But you surely already have an idea how I could manage that

I quickly implemented your idea. It definitely still needs optimization, but I like the basic concept.

Well, how should I say, this thing will never be a Picasso - I was only trying to somehow get a grip on everyday life with the mountain of laundry. But I must admit, I'm starting to doubt my suggestion again. Where are you supposed to collect the mountains of laundry until it's their turn? I don't think that works either.

Everyone has a laundry basket in their room; they do not need to be stored centrally.
