I can't think of any in connection with heat pumps, but if one is installed, it should be hydraulically integrated correctly. Unfortunately, this is rather rare. Now I am curious about the meaningful applications in connection with heat pumps. Especially of a stratified storage tank. Greetings Nika

The essential oversight in this case is the design with flow temperature=35°C. Efficient operation of a heat pump requires the flow temperature to be as low as possible. In new buildings, this can easily be brought below 30°C with little financial effort. For this, a BKA and/or wall heating in the bathroom may already be sufficient. Otherwise, you can already come down sufficiently by adjusting the installation distances. 1. If still possible, one could check whether an additional wall heating in the bathroom would be possible. 2. If the house is not optimally insulated and the heating load correspondingly high, the domestic hot water share in the calculation can possibly be reduced. 3. With a large window area, the heating limit temperature can possibly be set higher when calculating the annual performance factor. 4. The Kermi does not seem bad. However, there are better ones, e.g. Nibe F2120 or IDM iPump. The former can also be ordered significantly cheaper in Sweden. Funding is then still available. Regards Nika

For example, in combination with your solar system. Even with a larger photovoltaic system, the storage can serve as an additional energy buffer if no battery is available.



An alternative would have been the IDM, but I get the Kermi at a very good price.



We can get that, but then you need an SJAZ calculation, right? Where can you get it from?

I am currently also familiarizing myself with the topic.

Just as a note:

Wording on the BAFA page:
Innovation funding can only be applied for heat pumps with high annual performance factors OR heat pumps with improved system efficiency. The specific requirements can be found in the respective type of heat pump.

From the posts, I understand that an air-to-water heat pump hardly reaches the annual performance factor of 4.5.
However, it may fall under the OR area of the "system efficiency" funding and is therefore eligible for funding.

Or am I wrong here?

That’s how I understand it, too, but for that you would need a calculation of the system efficiency, right?
