Hello Ikea fans,
Just registered and already I need your help.
I would like to have a cabinet for my kitchen. Requirements:
At least 100cm wide, as tall as possible, 60cm deep, many drawers and shelves, everything closed, and it should also be cheap.
With the Metod series, this can be easily put together, but unfortunately not cheaply. Therefore, I want to assemble it from used Pax and Besta modules. Because these are more likely to be bought used than individual Metod cabinets.
The problem is mainly that with Pax the doors go completely from top to bottom and the drawers are exclusively inside. The problem with Besta is that it’s not deep enough for me. So the question is: can you maybe attach doors and drawers from Besta to Pax?
Alternatively, I already thought about the wardrobes and dressers from the Stuva series, but unfortunately I don’t like that the doors have holes. Is there possibly a trick for that?
Thanks for all your ideas!
