The question to be answered is "How much does a car cost"

Electrical new covers and frames for light switches or KNX

Floor coverings DIY hardware store tiles or have XXL tiles/natural stone installed

I have now roughly calculated the following through a bit of research: Renew heating (burner/boiler + radiators and possibly some supply lines) 10k / renew electrical system 5k / Bathroom No.1 7m2 7.5k / Bathroom No.2 7m2 7.5k / insulation under rafters for a semi-detached house 3k / floor 30m2 vinyl 1k / painter etc. 5k.
I hope I am correct with this; if the total shifts, that is completely okay, it just shouldn't be more than that.

I can hardly compare heating because we are doing underfloor heating and an air-water heat pump. However, that puts us well above your 10k. Electrical work might fit, we have calculated 7k (depending on what you want, as has already been mentioned here). Bathrooms seem too cheap to me. We have a larger one (I think 9 m2) and one smaller bathroom, which will cost more in total than your 15k. For the painters, we received quotes of > 15k. So we will definitely do a lot more ourselves than planned. And now the collective bargaining parties have agreed on 6% or 8% more salary... ;-) Can't you work with KFW grants? For example "barrier-free accessibility" if you are making a bathroom on the ground floor or basement. "Energy-efficient renovation"...

Hi, yes, I still need to get advice regarding KFW, but I hope the heating company can help me with that, since heating is the only topic where I don't know anyone privately who works in the business. Regarding the bathrooms, I am not going to remove the tiles; I will probably either have them covered or have vinyl installed over the tiles, as there are many options. Of course, I have a lot of manpower from acquaintances who are craftsmen, so I have calculated the bathroom accordingly. What I'm not sure about is how much the undersparren insulation will cost me for half of a semi-detached house. 100€ per m2 is recommended, but I have no idea how many m2 the roof has :D.

Heating and electrical work done by acquaintances? Otherwise, that's too little. How many radiators do you want to replace? They cost a lot of money. A new gas burner and tank alone will set you back 5k. Electrical work for the entire house completely new? With network? The materials will cost you 5k. Floor to baseboards, possibly necessary leveling compound considered? Are the necessary tools available? Painting is definitely a friend’s price; on the open market, no one will paint an entire house for you. Rafter insulation fits easily if you do it yourself. Is an underlay membrane available? Is the attic going to be used for living purposes? Then you’ll need a vapor barrier. It’s not expensive, but it’s a tedious job if you do it yourself.

HI, thanks for your assessment. New burner and storage plus installation etc should not exceed 10k, the house is from 1990 and actually still in good condition, but before we move in I would like to have that done. The electrical system should only be modernized, it is actually completely fine, but yes, you still want a few more sockets etc etc. Modernizing the circuit breaker costs etc. Painting is at a friendly price yes, he is a good friend and has his own painting company. Should the floor become more expensive, I will initially be able to live with the white tiles. The attic should not be used for living purposes, only insulated, I thought I would also do that before moving in.
