Yes, actually... Of course you can afford it. Only at the expense of other amenities. And I think some people factor that in as well. And yes, it IS unreasonable. And cheap money and strange financing options are very tempting. Financial and personal circumstances are amazingly quickly ignored and property is financed down to the last penny. In urban areas, it is probably less of a problem. In rural areas, where an increase in value is not guaranteed, it might eventually become a problem.

But that is certainly not the rule. The rule is probably "reasonable" financing. At least I don't personally know anyone who has financed "unreasonably"...

I can’t say yet, I’m currently calculating with ~100 sqm. I got the info about the 7500€ (water/sewage/electricity/telecom) from a "neighbor" who is developing 3 plots further down.

Regarding the connections, 7500 is quite realistic. Our prices are fixed. 2500,- sewage and rainwater, 2500 water, 1400 electricity, 1400 gas. 400 Telekom with contract. Without 800,- Max gives 8600 all gross.

They do the installation; but here the city wants a smooth 4000€ so that you are allowed to connect to the sewer.

we have to pay 7k including connection just for the wastewater pump (pressure channel). 3k water connection, 2k electricity connection, 499 € for internet (if with contract).
