Is it about the house price or financing? Financing more than representable. Better to finance a little buffer

But it's also a cost factor.
A fireplace is also one of those things.
For me as a woman, modern built-in appliances belong in the kitchen. Without a steam cooker, it's just not contemporary. And don't start with the thermo-sh** :P

No, seriously: one person has these priorities, another those - all have something in common: they cost money, which hurts some or causes worries later on.
Therefore, one should weigh whether this or that is necessary or dispensable.

It's just about the financing for now, I think the house price is okay for the region (because all three stay within the same range).

Everything is planned to be IP-based anyway (TV, phone, home network), so the SAT system, antenna cables, etc. will be dispensed with. My wife wants the fireplace (I wouldn't need it). I usually do the cooking, even without the steam cooker but with passion.

Since there have been no major vetoes so far, I assume it's a realistic plan and will soon start checking with the banks.

Thanks again for the info about the BAFA.

So, I would find it more relaxed, cheaper to build and to need only, say, 240 instead of 290. I think, with the equity status quo, a 1000,- euro rate per month is enough. I don't think you should calculate yourself rich for the future. You are not immune to unemployment, the children might go to university and be expensive. Etc pp. 240 would be without interest, at a thousand euro rate, 240 months or 20 years. With interest maybe 25. Then the fish should be cleaned, and you debt-free. K.

That's how it is. Price increases love to devour wage increases, so the joy often doesn't last long.

I find the price reasonable for the equipment. I personally would also do without the fireplace, for example. BUT: a house is supposed to provide satisfaction and if you always regret not having installed something, it’s really annoying. As long as you can live with the conditions offered to you, I would do it. The important thing is that you have full control of your costs and also build up a reserve for repairs.
