My experience with sloped plots of land: What you pay less in the favorable purchase price compared to other plots in the area, you often invest many times over later in earthworks. A soil survey can help identify costly conditions (groundwater, undercutting, rocks...) early on to avoid blowing the budget with the second groundbreaking. Since we built on a slope but did not proceed in a budget-oriented way, I can hardly advise you from my own experience.

Hello everyone, we have done a lot of research in the last few days, sat down with 2 solid house construction companies and everything matched your statements. We have therefore come to the conclusion not to take the step because although we could have increased the budget, we do not want to invest that much. Thank you for your advice and information, it has helped us a lot.

We hope that we might still have a chance at one of the semi-detached houses and will try our luck again with the construction company on Monday.
