Hello everyone,
after having anonymously searched your forum a few times, I have to come out today as a (critical) Ikea fan. Maybe someone can help me.
The following: I bought a Faktum corner base cabinet 120cm to complement my kitchen setup. The carcass is now assembled, even though the instructions were pretty lousy. But one is not completely stupid or this isn’t the first time doing such a thing... Now only the shelf (RATIONELL, about 116cm long) remains. Unfortunately, this shelf is not mentioned at all in the instructions for the carcass, although in my opinion it definitely belongs there. Instructions for the shelf itself – none.
In the package there are:
- the shelf itself
- a carrier made of sheet steel, 116 cm long
- 2 usual shelf supports
- a number of screws
- 2 white plastic plates, whose function I cannot guess.
Can someone give me tips on the installation? Ikea is far away and online there are no instructions either.
Many thanks from
DerHolle
P.S.: Never mind. I came up with a solution by trial and error that I can live with.
