how do you come up with the idea that there could be asbestos in there?
As some have already said: it doesn't matter now anyway.
The danger exists when removing asbestos. Even if there once was asbestos somewhere, you can't do anything about it now.
Dangerous remote diagnosis: Vinyl is harmless, that's PVC or some other foamed plastic. I also claim again that by the early 80s, asbestos was hardly used anymore in floor coverings. If you want to be absolutely sure, just send it to a lab, the analysis costs about ~70€. P.S. Wow, that was an ugly floor.

Laugh. Definitely. Ultra ugly yes, that’s why it was removed
When contacting various building biologists, etc., I have actually heard completely different opinions. Some consider an air measurement to be absolutely necessary. There could still be fibers in the air if any were released back then or are still rising under the new floor coverings. I am now very uncertain. The costs of an air sample are immense, especially since all rooms must be sampled individually. Has anyone ever had such a sampling done themselves? I am still looking forward to your opinions.

Are the "some" those who would then profit from the testing?
