Again: a) according to the year of construction, there was most likely NEVER ASBESTOS IN THE PLACE. b) Asbestos is primarily released during processing (cutting, sawing, sanding, etc.). So even if there is some kind of asbestos under your kitchen cabinets, as long as you’re not dancing the samba under the cabinets, everything is fine. Does anyone in the household have health problems? Why exactly are you so fixated on asbestos?
Why I am fixated on it: because you keep reading that an unbelievable amount of asbestos was used in the past. Then you think of the renovation and the construction year 82/83 and then you make the mistake of googling and find out that adhesives and vinyl etc. can contain asbestos. Then my ripped-out vinyl even looks like cushion vinyl from the pattern.... and so the thing takes its course and panic sets in (at least for me)......
Well, you said the kitchen has (geschliffener) raw flooring under the cabinets, so nothing was ever placed on it? Then there is no asbestos either - or was it in the concrete? Is it a concrete floor/ceiling?
because you keep reading that an incredible amount of asbestos was used in the past
But you have also read that many current products contain, for example, plasticizers and who knows what else? Are you now going to tear out all the floors and furniture and throw away your clothes? There are also many carcinogenic substances in the air and especially in food and even in drinking water (keywords pesticides, antibiotics, microplastics, etc.) Calm down slowly and relax, otherwise you'll die from excitement, but not from the non-existent asbestos.
