: Now please keep things in perspective! The danger posed by plasticizers dissolved in the air as well as the concentration of pesticides in drinking water is really not comparable to the danger posed by released and inhaled asbestos fibers! Downplaying it is as unhelpful to the OP as scaremongering...

Originally, vinyl was laid throughout the entire kitchen. Only this was removed. Beneath it was the screed. This remained as it was, and the kitchen cabinets were built on top of it. And parquet was laid up to the kitchen cabinets. In one spot, the screed was opened to reroute a heating pipe (under one kitchen cabinet the screed is therefore missing).
That is the situation in the kitchen.

Not minimizing, but reality. I just want to bring him down to earth because he is acting purely emotionally and has a fixation on asbestos... He should take the time to let the thread sink in calmly and not just think "one hears so much." Do you really hear that much given the age of the property?

Basically, nordannay is right that the topic is very emotional for me. So I am very grateful for objectivity. Nevertheless, it is not possible for me to assess whether there is still a risk at the present time or not. Are asbestos fibers still to be found in an apartment after 4 years, which is cleaned and vacuumed regularly? What about hard-to-reach corners? Asbestos fibers could still lie there and enter the interior through drafts. But the fact is: I don't even know if asbestos was present at all. Therefore, I am looking for a strategy to find out. But without air measurement, there probably won't be anything.
