Asbestos: Behavior, Dust samples, Material samples

It would be new to me that there was asbestos in there. More likely in the building structure and exterior facade, but not in foam backing and the like.

An expert speaks there Theoretically, a single inhaled asbestos fiber is enough to trigger the dreaded cancer. Unfortunately, with asbestos, it has nothing to do with the duration of exposure whether you suffer damage or not.

You can't change anything NOW anyway. Whether you possibly got something, you can no longer check. Your carpet is of no use to you - if anything, it was in the PVC covering. It might have been better to leave that in and just lay the parquet over it.

After 3 years, I wouldn't worry about it anymore. There's nothing left to change anyway.

Besides, ignorance protects against increased premiums in some insurances.

The year of construction also does not suggest that asbestos was still used. Certainly not in the carpet and foam. Don’t drive yourself crazy.
