Umm, wouldn’t you want a more professional legal situation assessor than a forum community for projects of this scale? Personally, I would at least prefer a dedicated heating room for the 800 sqm building rather than the boiler between the electrical distributor and the washing machine.

Somehow what you write doesn't quite match up obviously yet: In terms of size, it's half a castle, a lakeside property, a kitchen of 128sqm which for others is a single-family house. And on the other hand, you come across as totally insecure. From a businessman, I expect a clear, strong hand with which he leads or has led his ideas to success - otherwise, he wouldn't have the necessary money.

Did you inherit or win the lottery? Either way, it's definitely something you deserve! However, the lack of experience also seems to be associated with a high risk regarding: How do I deal with my opportunities.

Before you have your own Berlin airport on your property, you should invest in a lawyer to get out of the contract to an appropriate extent and find a new architect whom you trust.

What is contractually agreed upon at all? Are you bound to such an extent? We were not, could have stopped after the LP.

@Vinjoe1, I don't see it that way. Everything fits together perfectly for me. I am a woman who started a construction project with her husband, we are very hardworking, have a well-running company and also have construction financing through the bank.... so everything is fine, a lot of risk for the rest of our lives, unfortunately no lottery win. And yes, I am only human and definitely somewhat uncertain.

Maybe it was simply wrong to write here in the forum? The first answers already seemed helpful to me. It could have been that someone here is a half-contract professional and can contribute something to see what I have overlooked myself.

Whether the construction project is small or large has nothing to do with whether you choose the right or less right architects.

Nevertheless, many thanks for the answers

I’ll join Rick here (even though it doesn’t really have to do with your problem).

I’d be very curious about your project. Tell me a bit about the design, the plot, maybe even the budget. Your project sounds very interesting.
