Money doesn’t matter since the market value of the hut has developed into the seven-figure range over the last 5 years ;-) We did not have the toilet measured during the building inspection. However, my wife recently had a herniated disc, and the seat height we currently have is demonstrably impairing. Reference heights of 410 cm as recommended by the manufacturer of the ceramics are ergonomically "painless." The actual height difference only recently came to light during the conversation with the neighbor. Maybe I’ll be kind enough to report how the complaint turned out.

Address it, maybe it will work. Otherwise, if money is no issue, the plumber should fix it for you.

But the toilet can't be blamed for the fact that your wife is currently not feeling well health-wise and a different height would be more suitable ;-)

And when I eventually sit in a wheelchair, the door is too narrow – I actually wanted it differently, but I wasn’t bothered that the planner built it "normal." And is that now a defect???

A visual or perceived reason for movement is also not a defect. Apart from that: defects must be reported immediately after detection. You have tolerated something for about 5 years (which is technically top-notch and totally within the norm), and you can and will be able to live with it for another 30 years. For your wife, it is of course unfortunate now. But it is a personal problem – it can be fixed by remodeling. After 5 years, quite a few things come up – you just have to tackle them. But now relying on warranty is nonsense.

Get well soon wishes to your wife!

I have gained 30 kg and now I can't fit into the XL shower. Deficiency?? The possible obesity should have been taken into account!
