Hello,
we have been living in our new building for about 4 months. The house has not yet been plastered on the outside. We have very high-quality wood-aluminum windows (oak inside and black outside). Unfortunately, the windows creak incredibly. Especially in the morning when it gets warmer (it is enough that the sun rises) and especially in the evening when it gets a bit cooler and at night (which of course is the worst). There are 3 types of noises: first, a loud bang (occasionally), as if the entire window would jump out of the wall; second, a sound like a "puff" on the glass pane (as if a large insect hit it; it almost sounds like setting off a small table firework in the apartment, since we have many windows) and third, a knocking on the wall, as if someone were hitting a plastic pipe with an iron bar. The last problem was solved by covering the roller shutter box on the outside with an insulating foil (the house is not plastered yet). Otherwise, the other two problems are still there. The window company has already been here 4 times and removed the panes and inserted new glazing blocks (initially only on 3 windows as a test to see if it helps). The "puffs" on the panes have improved. However, the window company now does not want to do anything else. They say that it is normal for windows to creak... We have many acquaintances who have wood-aluminum windows (also from our company), and they have no problems at all. What can we do? Who can we turn to?
Thank you very much.
