Window paint does not adhere to the surface

I want to paint my wooden windows. For this, I roughened the surface with 180-grit sandpaper. Unfortunately, the new paint does not adhere (Alpina white paint for windows and doors), although according to the product description, it is supposed to have an integrated primer. The result looks like the photo.

I understand that I applied too thickly and that's why the paint runs. However, if I use less, the paint covers even worse and spreads more.

You should better prime thinly first, this also works with the same paint. You achieve coverage with the second (also thin) coat.

And shake vigorously and then stir the can. Paints often separate into their components in the can. Do not use a brush, but a small sponge roller for the coating.

I made a new attempt yesterday. I shook the paint can vigorously beforehand and then took a roller. The result is significantly better. Although the paint still adheres rather poorly, it is now even and somehow holds.

You have to be careful to apply the right amount of paint. Otherwise, it either doesn’t cover or it runs.

Even with primer and sanding, the surfaces must be degreased beforehand. If knots or resin pockets are visible, a suitable blocking primer must be used. [Fensterlack] basically just means that the paint is more UV- and weather-resistant.
