Seriously. There is a really big manufacturer in PL, Drutex. They do everything themselves. Located in Gdansk. And there are dozens of smaller window factories, whose names I don’t know, that, just like here in D., process the profiles of the brand manufacturers into windows. In Poland often Veka profiles, since Veka, as far as I know, also has profile factories in Poland. So it’s merely assembly of prefabricated industrial parts. With us, as said, Roton handles and hinges, Veka profiles, glass from ? Results in a window whose stickers said something about Szczecin, i.e. Stettin.

Fittings and U-value is, as far as I know, the difference with the windows. We built through GU. I think the window installer said he gets 250 euros per window including the roller shutter.

Last year, during a renovation which was very affordable due to our upcoming new construction, I bought a window from Drutex at a very low price and installed it myself. So far, I absolutely cannot find anything bad about this window - absolutely airtight.

So you would also use Drutex in new buildings? Entire hotels have been equipped with Drutex here. No problem at all.

I would use it without hesitation for my new building, however, I am now going one level up to aluminum/larch because the budget allows it. Otherwise, I would have no problem choosing these windows. Great for the price

We also installed them in our single-family home renovation. 50m² window area including front door, triple glazed with warm edge and colored foil. 9k gross + installation for Drutex, about 12k gross would have been with profiles from the German manufacturer (I just forgot the name). There is nothing to complain about the windows.

What do you mean by difference? Between "German" and "Polish"? Drutex uses fittings from Mako – you find that with 50% of the German manufacturers too. U-values are the same everywhere; Drutex offers from passive house windows with Uw 0.7 up to standard 1.2, just like most others.

converted from our area with 50m² (including front door with Uw 1.0) we paid about €270 / m² window area with foil – including installation! Without foil it would have been about €250/m². Based on your 20 windows / 38m² that would be €9600. That fits. But I find the 35k quite a lot – our highest offer was €400/m² (all without plaster work).

BUT: The installers for us were the biggest disaster and in the end I didn’t pay everything and fixed the defects myself. Definitely pay attention to clean installation and ideally demand a RAL-compliant installation in writing, ask how it will be implemented and check!
