Yep, RAL colors or colors according to color number can also look different. That’s just the way it is and must be accepted.

Of course, I want to disagree. The color is standardized. Under the same conditions, the same result must be achieved. The substrate was already mentioned as a "source of error." Here, in the outlined case, the initial execution according to the description was not quite kosher. We obviously won’t clarify it further, of course. But a standardized color applied under comparable conditions should lead to the same results.

With paints, the base "heiligs blechle" is significantly more "undemanding" and clearly standardized. Also, the application using spray technology makes it much easier to create smooth transitions. And usually, the car has been washed before/afterwards.

With a house with different base materials, different paint manufacturers, and also weather-related differences, it's a completely different story.

RAL xy on plaster should look the same, whether there is a house or a garage under the plaster. It worked for us and the neighbors too.
