White is not white. What is wise?

So I told the plasterers, RAL 90 something traffic white please also for the house. They are going to use a silicone resin finish in traffic white, I saw the buckets myself, and the result is, it is whiter than the garage, somewhat more yellowish, the garage is slightly grayer. Two manufacturers, same shade. You have to live with it. Karsten

Yep, RAL colors or colors by color number can look different. That’s just the way it is and has to be accepted.
But you can't necessarily know that, after all, you assume you're covered with the same number from a manufacturer. I also had to experience this with my silver gray. Fortunately, you can influence which walls are painted, so you take the light into consideration.

You can't really say that. You assume it didn’t have the same color, but you can’t definitively claim that. You’d have to prove it, but that’s not possible.

Most of them have somewhere in the small print "similar to RAL...". It also depends on the substrate, for example with nordlys. Textures look different, consistencies, differently colored substrates, which also absorb differently ...
