How am I supposed to imagine this:
Me: You really have a beautiful exhibition here.
Seller: Thanks for the compliment, feel free to sit on it.
Me: Do you also have a toilet brush?

Well, maybe test it with friends and if you like it, buy the same.

Hello,
we are facing the same question. Currently, we like the Newflush models from Catalano. In our opinion, these have the fewest and smallest edges where something can accumulate. Additionally, the flushing seems to work "like a tornado" and also cleans thoroughly.

Well, in our apartment we replaced the original Vigour lid with a soft-close one, and it still works absolutely flawlessly even after many, many years! I'm more the type who accidentally lets the toilet lid drop on others' toilets because I'm used to just "tapping" it. Brand HARO, cost I think around €40?!

First of all, thank you for the numerous contributions, but immediately after that comes a "sigh" from me! I’m really not making much progress...

The mind says V & B because it looks good visually, offers a good compromise with the open rim, and as a bonus has an integrated filling basket.

The heart says Geberit Icon, it looks very good visually, would fit perfectly with our cistern and button (Geberit), but unfortunately I don’t dare to go for the completely "rimless" model, as you read here and there that it isn’t splash-free.

I somehow have no opinion about Duravit, unfortunately.

It doesn’t help, we will still visit at least 1-2 bathroom galleries and hope that the mentioned models are on display to hopefully get a final impression and maybe even get an expert opinion on site as a bonus.

Regarding Softclose: We have been using it without problems for years and it is therefore practically a given.

Can one perhaps say that, all in all, more or less all three can be recommended?
