I have since found out that the design is called Flachspüler. I find it more practical because you can put two sheets of toilet paper on it and then you hardly ever need to touch up with the brush.

Yuck! Those are the toilets that used to be almost exclusively available. - it smells on top - use more water to flush everything away. - harder to clean because of steps Uh, are there any advantages?

See above. If you place two sheets of Toipap on the "terrace" beforehand, it slips smoothly. Also, it doesn't splash as much during the session, since the drop height of the chair is not that high. Still especially relevant for children. You can better examine the chair for things that don’t belong in there... Interesting topic. I wonder if people would speak so openly about it in real life?

But most people definitely don't do that (especially kids and guests). You don't need something like that on the low flush toilet to make it slide. You can also put in two sheets there and you get the best of both worlds...

Cool topic.

No, with the floor-flush toilet the leaves immediately fill up and get pulled down. It’s true that guests probably never do that, but you can educate children in that direction...

I am there at Tolentino...
With the others, my bottom gets wet when it falls in, I don't like that... and peeing in there is unpleasantly loud because the fall height is higher...
