I love rattan furniture, a natural material made from the peeled and dried stems of the rattan palm. These stems are imported from tropical Asia. Yet despite their exotic origin, rattan furniture is very popular in the Midlands. Moreover, production has long been automated and streamlined, so the price of the final product could be significantly reduced.
