Which plaster carrier board, if insulation does not matter?

I just read this: Basically, everything was done correctly. The difference between DEO and WI/DI lies in the compressive strength/compression resistance of the insulation boards. DEO = interior insulation under screed without sound insulation requirements. Usually compressive strength of 100 kPa at 10% compression WI/DI = interior wall insulation or interior ceiling insulation, compressive strength is lower there, I believe about 50 kPa at 10%. For exterior walls of the shed under plaster, you actually need boards approved for WAP = exterior wall under plaster. Most EPS boards, however, only have WAB = exterior wall under cladding as approval, which is sufficient for ETICS or for plastering above the base. Higher compressive strength is required in the base (because impacts occur more frequently there). For this, usually the "base insulation boards" you also used are suitable. They are the same as the other EPS boards, only more compressive resistant and possibly with approval for insulation against soil (PW), if the water absorption has been tested and is not too high. So if you have taken the somewhat firmer DEO boards for insulation above the base, everything is fine. Otherwise, better to be a little cautious with the wall.

Thank you very much for the clarification! Very helpful and informative.

Then I will be a bit more careful with the wall.
Unfortunately, the building materials supplier I trust only had WI/DI boards in 3cm thickness available.

The shed does not close off at the bottom with the ground but still has about 2cm of air to the paving. There I mounted a 120° angled sheet metal:

And at the end properly plastered, that is reinforcement, base coat, then normal plaster on top and base plaster at the bottom.

And did your plastered shed survive the winter well?
