If you only repair - plaster remains and less than 10% of the surface is repaired - you do not have to carry out an energy retrofit.

If you only do small stuff or optics, you have no issue.

The overhang is already quite decent. Hard to estimate from the picture, but if you could get 8-10cm out of it, the existing 5cm would already be heading in a very good direction.

I think you also answered me once in my other thread. We have a long, horizontal, crack in the facade. Is something like this acute? In other words, could such a crack cause the plaster to crumble or the insulation to become damp? Otherwise, the facade looks like new.. What is the worst that can happen here? That the area around the crack has to be replastered (10-percent rule) or could this lead to the facade having to be completely rebuilt with new insulation etc?

I wouldn’t worry about that at all with my house. However, there are people better informed than me here in the forum.

I measured, it's 9 cm plus the 5 makes 14. Is that enough for insulation according to the Building Energy Act?

With 14cm EPS 035 you get 0.24 W/m²K, which is the limit value, as another user wrote.
With 14cm EPS 032 even 0.22 W/m²K
Only the insulation layer is considered here and not the (unknown) masonry or a possibly applicable insulating plaster.

It's really borderline. Actually, you also want to realize a 2-3 cm overhang with the parapet so that water drips off and doesn't run down the facade.

What would be most cost-effective in your case will be calculated by the energy consultant.
