We have the driveway and parking spaces made of gravel instead of paving or asphalt. It looks great, is cost-effective, and does not become slippery so quickly in winter. With the right choice of size, you also don’t carry stones into the house. Additionally, the sealing of the surface is not so extreme.

You also built on the slope, right? Are there any problems with grip? Do the wheels sometimes slip on the gravel? Do you have a photo of the driveway so I can imagine it?

Photo to follow, grip problems at the start of the ascent are unfortunately faced by the flatland amateurs, the package delivery drivers don't care about spinning tires, you always have to ease off a bit at the beginning so that the interlocking of the stones becomes properly firm. We ourselves get up just fine and without spinning tires, even with the van. We would have liked to have chosen cobblestones as well, but with the price factor of 3.5 over more than 300sqm, it was simply too expensive for us. Photo to follow.

Does anyone have a photo of it or of the Klinkerpflaster Berlin from the company ABC Klinker? It's always hard to judge from a single stone.

We have gravel, about 36mm in size. No grip problems, but occasionally we have to kick some stones back onto the street.

Drive through 2-3 new development areas. You can see them there... But the two are not identical.
