Which interior door height corresponds to which room height - collection thread

Fortunately, tastes vary and not everyone sets priorities the same way, otherwise every house would look the same

Everything else looks disproportionate - I agree with my predecessors. With a 3m ceiling height, a 2-meter door simply looks puny! Most people probably don't need that height. I am 1.65, so I could easily hop through a 2-meter frame.

From today's perspective, all our doors would be floor-to-ceiling. The extra cost was clearly too high for us at the start of construction (I can't specify now). But it does look cool!

I think it depends on your height. I find - as a somewhat shorter person - that you look ridiculously small in such tall door frames.

We have all doors ceiling-high and I love it...

floor-to-ceiling throughout the entire house or only in certain rooms. Very nice taste.
