Hello everyone,
I have a plot of land that is approximately 8.25 m wide. The building window is about 8.25 m (entire width) x 17 m length. However, I do not want to build across the entire width because I want a passageway to the garden. I now have two floor plans:
Floor plan 1: 5 m x 17 m: Parking spaces would be next to the house, approximately 3 m wide driveway along the entire length;
Advantage: window surfaces on the side. Disadvantage: cars often have to be switched.
Floor plan 2: 7 m x 12 m: Parking spaces would be in front of the house. I like this layout much better.
Advantage: cars can go in and out without considering each other.
I like floor plan 2 much better; the spaces in the house are more usable.
My question is, however, is 1 m on the side enough to get through with, for example, a mini excavator, wheelbarrow, tools, etc.? I know there will be hardly any space on the left and right; what's important to me is that I can somehow get through.
Are there everyday problems I haven't thought of yet?
Who has such a narrow passage and can reassure me, since I am actually leaning strongly toward floor plan 2.
Thanks and regards
