Hello everyone,

I bought a Metod kitchen and am currently struggling with assembling the cabinets with drawers (Uschr 4 Fr/2 ni 2 haho Sch and Uschr 5 Fr/2 ni 3 haho Sch

the following problem:
The last drawer doesn’t fit by about 2cm. The instructions describe many combinations of which holes to attach the runners to, but the two aforementioned cabinets are missing exactly. I have already tried various combinations, also used the second row of holes on the runners, but I have not found a suitable combination. I have also adjusted the drawers sideways in height on the screws. All without success...

Can someone help me?

Best regards, Bond007

Hello, if there is not enough space at the top, there must be too much space somewhere at the bottom.
Does the entire drawer not fit or just the front?
Can you upload pictures?

Hello Ikea expert,

thank you for your quick response! Here are 2 pictures:

First, I assembled the cabinet. I attached the rails from top to bottom, you can see that the front of the lowest drawer protrudes about 2 cm.

Then I thought I might have started incorrectly at the top. So with the next cabinet (5 drawers), I started installing the drawers and rails from the bottom. Now the top drawer doesn’t fit, the metal bracket (probably for the countertop) is not properly attached because the drawer is in the way.

It’s always about approx. 2 cm.

Best regards

The front must end almost flush with the corpus at the bottom. Does the rail sit on the floor at the bottom? There must be no air between the rail and the floor.

Yes, the rail sits at the bottom on the floor for both (last holes).

Edit: There is no excess space between the drawers anywhere.

Hello, I was confused at first too. I guess I know what the reason is. Take a very close look at the instructions, there are two versions, one if the drawer is at the very bottom and one if it is higher up. If you look very carefully (I didn’t see it at first either) there are two mounting holes in the drawer fronts, but three holes in the mounts. And depending on which of the three holes you use, the front shifts up or down. That was the case for me at least, I had to look closely for a long time too )) Regards
