Where should the Ikea Maximera rails be attached?

Hi kubia. You have to pull the latch backward with the Phillips screwdriver to release the front.

I managed it. It was the same problem as the original poster.

Hello dear forum,
I can't get it right either... where on earth is the mistake?!?!

Assembly of the rails in rows 15, 13, and 9 each in the upper holes
Row 1 in the lower holes

even if I were to turn the front of the medium-sized drawer around, it still wouldn't fit because the height of the front does not fit between the large and the narrow one.

the narrow fronts are flush with the side, if you turned them, it would still be like that, right?

desperate greetings

Hello! Did you also make sure that the bottom front is attached to the drawer differently than the others? At first glance, it looks like you treated ALL of them like the bottom one. That's why there is a gap at the top.

THANK YOU for the quick reply Nörgli.
What do you mean by "That's why the gap is above"?
Here are the pictures again, maybe it will be clearer then...

top two drawers - here it doesn't matter how the front is attached, right?

Please check the manual again. On page 6, you can see that the bottom front is attached as described on page 12, while all the ones above follow the steps on page 6.

Here is a picture of how it is with me. I don't have 10-fronts, but the principle is the same:

Addendum: I don't know if the 10-fronts from the top and bottom are the same. If there are different distances, follow the manual. You definitely put the two brackets in the wrong holes. Not the two from below, but from above:

Hello Nörgli,

exactly – your addendum was the ultimate tip – I always placed the screws incorrectly on the upper drawers at part no. 126888 (this metal part) (both on the same side and not one in front and one behind)... how embarrassing... (I didn’t change the screws on the plastic part, that worked as is)

Now everything fits and looks good!

THANK YOU and have a great turn of the year!
Best regards
Gfi
