I don't believe you can help me anymore. The office indicated today that new construction is only possible on the existing house. It is located at the very top of a steep hillside property. However, the surrounding houses were built at the bottom of the slope, and they also have garages. All of this will very likely not be approved in our case. The fact that this deviates from the development of neighboring properties does not matter. So, we would have to build at the very top of the slope. But the existing house is too small. In addition, construction machinery can barely access the top. We suspect that the site used to be accessible from above before it became the Sleeping Beauty castle. The only concession would be 2 parking spaces and an elevator for the wheelchair at the bottom of the street. However, the lady from the office is already aware that the property cannot be developed under these conditions. Of course, we are not the first to have asked. As far as I understand, one would have to apply for a change in the development plans. In a corresponding procedure involving several departments, including nature conservation, a decision would then be made. But this is rather difficult. She said on one hand that she is very closely bound to the development plan, but on the other hand she said this is a problem that needs to be solved. No idea, probably another dead end. Keep searching.
