I see it differently. If I want a bungalow, I don’t want a city villa. So I decide, this is how I want to live and then buy the suitable land.
Wrong. Land is not available like bread rolls, and moreover only with restrictions, i.e. development plans. I also wanted a bungalow, and if I insisted on that, I would still be living in my terraced house at 70. Besides, the orientation of the land dictates the floor plan. Just because a builder likes to think in standard or simple terms doesn’t mean that’s optimal for the property – most of the time it’s really a violation of the property, what some builders think about their house or its arrangement.
But back to the topic: the first post contains tips for the OP.
By now I believe it’s hidden advertising for that weird house-building company, but the more I look at their site, the more it gives me brain cancer. It is the best negative example of opaque building service descriptions. It’s not worth dealing with this company any further...
