What does a successful wardrobe look like?

.. it would probably be more polite and productive if you also presented your ideas here. Because there aren't that many possibilities and why should everyone write them again if you already have the one idea. Besides, it gives a bit of insight into how you think. And, a photo of the initial situation wouldn't be bad either.

Our hallway will soon undergo a change as well, it bothers me that I can see the jackets and shoes.

I always gather ideas now and then with Ikea Metod Hack.

It will definitely be something that hangs on the wall :-) because of the vacuum robot...

Do the interior design options of PAX now fit into Metod, which is probably still somewhat better in quality than Pax? I don't think so, because of the different standard widths or (40, 60, 80 vs 50, 75, 100…)?

We implemented a built-in version like in almost every room. I like to hide everything as well as possible and make as little visible as possible. The built-in wardrobe is white and simple. 2m long, 2.7m high, and 65cm deep. For us with 3 people, completely sufficient. There is still space left for guests. Next to the entrance door, there will soon be a bench and a mirror (not visible in the picture).

That will not work because of the different widths. However, I do not think that Metod is of better quality than Pax.

I have an old coat rack from an old café standing in the hallway. For me, it is exactly the opposite of : everything in cabinets would drive me crazy. The coat rack is very practical. I can simply hang everything on it, even rain-soaked jackets and stuff. I have shoes in a closed Ivar system next to it.
