Does IKEA PAX 236cm fit in a room height of 236cm? Experience

No no, the lid on the Pax is only inserted from the side, and then the dowels are fixed from below/inside with cam-lock nuts. It does not sit on any nipples.

ah right. I just looked at the manual online. Probably been too long since I built a Pax. So I take everything back and claim the opposite.

A little play is still advisable. After all, you sometimes want to move it or level it. And the rail holders for sliding doors also need almost a centimeter (UND müssen vor Zusammenbau des Schrankes in die Deckel gesteckt werden!!).

Nope, wrong! Maybe it was like that before, but with the current sliding doors you don’t need to mount anything beforehand. I just did that with a total of 4 pairs of sliding doors...

You do need a bit of space at the top, though, for the sliding doors.
