Prices on the Internet are sometimes significantly lower than those you pay, for example, in furniture stores. However, I find that some things are not really suitable for online ordering. For example, I am somewhat critical about sofas because you cannot try sitting or lying on them. Other things like a dining table and matching chairs are probably less critical, and lamps, for example, hardly critical at all. You can always make a wrong choice and then want to return it.

We ordered a lot from Otto for our move last year. Large selection, fair prices, and the customer service is great. We were sometimes really surprised by the good quality. But I agree with you, I wouldn't order something like a sofa online. You want to try sitting on it beforehand.

Oh, I have had different experiences. 30%-50% for the same piece of furniture is not uncommon. It was like that with our wall unit and the dining chairs. Same brand, same model.
