What did you order on the internet?

I bought wall-mounted bathroom cabinets online. They were not cheap there either, but cheaper than in all the stores in the area. However, they were also of good quality (high-quality drawers, etc.). I don’t think anyone would have had higher quality at the local stores.

I quite like one or the other furniture series. So purely visually, I could imagine buying from them.
I also really like solid wood.
But does it deliver what it promises?

For me: unfortunately not.
I also found some of the series visually appealing on the internet and then deliberately took a detour to visit one of the furniture stores. They were mostly the typical shabby chic stuff in mediocre quality made from rather light wood. As an amateur carpenter, I certainly have quite high standards when I buy furniture. But for me, the items were not worth the price.

We ordered a lot on the internet, but we negotiated furniture at the furniture store.

I ordered a sofa on the internet years ago and was very dissatisfied. Therefore, we test-sat our new sofa.
My husband likes to negotiate and haggle as if it were in his genes. Solid furniture simply costs more than particle board. And at the furniture store, I can examine the goods closely.
There is always something to be done about the price. At least that is our experience.

interesting to hear. A table that weighs e.g. 88KG didn’t sound wrong at first. How should I understand your quality standards? Can you tell me, for example, how much your dining table cost or any other piece of furniture you have bought? I would like to be able to classify your opinion somehow.

I must have been mistaken there, but I am also currently looking at many pieces of furniture. The table weighing 88kg is also solid wood with 198x100. If you Google, you have to enter BUDHHA Säulentisch #130 198x100 Sheesham. Then you will find it. Hope that's okay for the admins.
