Hello everyone,
We are currently in the finalization phase of our house planning and are still not quite satisfied with the bathroom. We have planned quite a generous amount of space but feel it is not well utilized. For example, the toilet is too prominent for us, the shower is too far away, and we would like the washing machine to be somewhat more screened off. For your information, it is a 4-gable house with a knee wall of 1.85 m. The windows and doors can possibly still be changed. Does anyone here perhaps have ideas on how we could optimize our bathroom?
Thank you and best regards!

No offense, but a wellness bathroom with a washing machine and dryer inside is not really well thought out. And the floor plan of this room even less so. The passage to the shower area will also look awful in width and height. The bathroom mostly consists of circulation space...

Show the entire floor plan...

Is the large window in the dressing room at least opaque? With that size and sill height, you quickly become a neighborhood attraction otherwise. Same question for the bathroom at the bathtub, the shower, and the toilet. At least do you get some contact.

I have to agree with . Washing machines and dryers in a self-occupied single-family house are taboo. They belong in a separate utility room. The space where the washing machine and dryer are now would be great for a lounge chair angled in front of the sauna and the large window, which I have not yet seen. Or a separate waterfall shower? Or at least integrate it into the regular shower. Traffic area itself is not bad; it also means you can let your gaze wander and have freedom of movement. Only if the space is missing elsewhere is it poorly planned. Otherwise, unfortunately, I am just one of those who can say it looks good or bad; I almost never make the way there on my own
