You mean it will work then? How can I tell if the cable is well shielded?

: You are the only one I know with a Graf flat water tank (as far as I remember). Have you ever had to clean your cistern? After 1 year we have sludge and it stinks. That means something needs to be done. However, how to clean (or have it cleaned) the thing is a mystery to me. Graf themselves don’t really want to say how it really works well. And I certainly don’t want to just go down there because of the gases and ventilation.

We do not have the flat tank version. Which filter did you install? We have the quite fine one with a rinsing function. Thus, very little contamination in the tank. Our pump also tolerates dirtier water. But there is not much in it when I look at my filter after the pump. With the right filter on the inlet, you almost never have to clean the cistern. Maybe it works with a pool robot with a coarse filter? Otherwise, a small compressed air bottle and pond vacuum. I wouldn't do it without aeration either.

We only have the normal filter basket. But unfortunately, during the construction phase, there was no filter in for quite a long time. I regret not saying anything about that. The pool robot might possibly be an idea.

I have also seen the fine filter. But I don’t know if I can install it. We already have some difficulties getting down because the manhole shaft was extended.

You mean working down there yourself with compressed air?

No, I meant a small diving cylinder. But try a pool robot if you have one. With a coarse filter so it doesn’t fill up after a minute... We also have an extended dome shaft. It works, just a bit tricky to install. The filter is great, especially with the backwash. We are currently installing one for friends along with a 15000 flat tank.

With the filter, I wouldn't know offhand how to connect it. Because we have the following setup. We have this red inlet in which the filter basket is. Directly below the rainwater inlet is the siphon, and 90° further on is the emergency overflow. Or am I missing something now?
