Water connection installed incorrectly - Right to correction from the general contractor?

I don't want to imply anything, just the sink with a nice siphon!

So, this is now a photo of the siphon. But I asked for a photo where you could see which reference the plumber used as a measure (door, wall corner) or whether another sink would compensate for it. It's about to what extent a defect is a defect.

Well, according to the bathroom plan there should be space for a 60 cm washbasin. However, the pipes were laid incorrectly. I do not want a washbasin cabinet!! Now the question was whether I have the right to demand rectification!!

No one is talking about a washbasin. (Ich verzichte mal auf die 2 Ausrufezeichen)

Rework will be disproportionate. The defect is purely optical and not functional.
So from the general contractor you'll at most get a hundred discount on something else.
If it's really that important to you: The sink is a variable.
You could swap it for one that fits centrally over the drain.
You just have to somehow share the corresponding extra costs with the general contractor.
